2 X RAN ENGINEERS - RADIO ACCESS NETWORK/SITE ENGINEER - MOROCCO
BTS, BSC, Node B, RNC, ANTENNAS, CABLES
My client is a leading telecoms service provider and they have an urgent need for 2 skilled RAN Engineers/Site Engineer to work on a major project based out of Rabat, Morocco.
The Successful Ran/Site Engineer will be responsible for the following:
*Coordinate the activities assigned to subcontractors concerning the creation of sites for wireless mobile networks and/or the replacement of technical equipment within the site
*Supervision of activities according to the delivery plan agreed with the end customer
*Checking the technical specifications required by the customer
Detailed Responsibilities:
*Quality audits on sites for each project including - optical, broadband and wireless
*Self check inspection and inspection report
*Output of monthly quality reports
*Documentation to include: site survey reports, installation reports, installation process and technical process
*Validation of documentation from partners covering survey reports and installation reports
*Technical assistance for presales (bidding), assistance for partners and assistance for the project manager
*Participate in internal meetings, customer me eting and partner meetings.
Skills Required Include:
*Very strong experience with access network elements in 2G and 3G technologies such as BTS, BSC, Node B and RNC
*Good troubleshooting and configurations skills are a must have.
*Ability to supervise and coordinate test activities on technical equipment
*Strong knowledge of data processing with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
*Good knowledge in electricity, optics, wiring, cables and lugs
*Experience with different vendor kit is a plus point.
*Very good communicator - must speak fluent English.
This role is based in Rabat Morocco so candidates must be prepared to be based there for the duration of the contract.
