Matrix is partnering with a local company who is in need of an employee for Development Support.  

Responsibilities:
Debugs, supports, and maintains basel and economic capital applications that support Enterprise business functions. These applications involve diverse platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools. Candidate will have responsibility for and participate in monthly release migrations across multiple environments, and will support all aspects of monthly release implementations including CAB governance and Disaster Recovery planning and testing. Responsible for routine maintenance of complex applications. Executes DDL and DML scripts, replicates data structures across database environments. Serves as Level 1/2/3 production support and on-call, for the monthly production cycle and meets aggressive Service Level Agreements. Performs planning and testing associated with infrastructure upgrades. Ensures application meets information security and compliance standards.   Responds to business issues in accordance with service level agreements support team. requires night and weekend work. Logs errors and issues associated with migrations, releases, and production support and seeks to mitigate issues. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource. Collaborates with members of the development, analyst and testing teams with to coordinate delivery of software application. Works across Enterprise Technology Delivery teams to provide solutions.  

Requirements:
7-10 year of experience.
Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills.  
Must be available for after hours as needed and some weekend work, during Quarter End production

Must have advanced skills in:
Unix (3- 5 years+) Understanding of Unix access, file and directory permissions, Shell Scripting, vi
SQL (3-5 year+)
Teradata and Oracle RDBMS (3-5 years+)
Preferable to have Job Scheduler open source experience, however any scheduler experience (maestro, autosys, etc) is applicable
Version Control software: Clearcase, SVN, etc
Production Support Experience (Level 1-3)
Debugging/Defect analysis/Triage/Tactical fix
Managing migrations across multiple environments, managing infrastructure   Preferable/Desirable: JAVA - Not required but helpful
Perl Not required but helpfu
Actuate - Not required but helpful
