As this is an urgent contract position all candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland.
VB Developer (CONTRACT)
Location: Dublin.
Term: 6 months (Potential to renew)
Essential Requirements:
- Microsoft Visual Basic 6 and Crystal Reports 10 experience is essential (VB6)
- Knowledge of Oracle and SQL would be preferable
- Knowledge of Microsoft VB/C#.NET would be preferable
- Highly proficient communication, initiative and teamwork skills
Nice To Have:
- Knowledge of Installshield would be preferable
- Financial Services Experience would be beneficial but not necessary
- MS SQL/MySQL/Oracle
- T-SQL
- VBA
- Data Warehousing, ETL, Database Design
- Word Automation/Reporting/Data Cleaning
- Business Intelligence: SSIS/SSRS
Role:
Support, Maintain and Enhance key client and server applications
To work as part of application support team meeting pre-determined deadlines
Liase with system analysts and end-users
Involvement in the creation and maintenance of development best practice
