Initial 3 month contract with a view to permanent
Luton (covering Northern Home Counties, North London)
Salary Up To 19,500 depending upon experience

Our client provides maintenance, repair services and PAT testing for cleaning equipment throughout England, Scotland and Wales. The majority of the equipment they provide to their customers is electrical and battery operated cleaning machinery.

They have a great opportunity which has arisen for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their team.
Our client really prides themselves on the level of service and expertise that they offer to their customers in making sure their equipment is professionally serviced.

Reporting to the Field Service Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining adequate stock levels to support equipment in your area to ensure that customers experience the smallest possible amount of downtime on their machinery because ultimately this effects the profitability of their business. Our client has an outstanding retention
rate with their customers because of the service that their Field Service Engineers provide and you will need to be able to match up to these high levels of customer service whilst correct safety precautions are maintained at all
times.

The successful applicant will hold a City & Guilds qualification (or equivalent) in either an electrical or mechanical discipline and will have previous experience of maintaining scrubbers/driers, sweepers, rotary machinery, vacuums or any other types of industrial cleaning machinery. Friendly, resourceful and self motivated; you will have the ability to communicate well with customers and be the friendly, professional face of our client's business.
A full, clean UK driving licence is essential. Applicants must also live within the Luton, Watford, High Wycombe, Stevenage areas as this is where the customers you will be visiting are based.
