Our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager who must have experience within a project dealing with 'Real Time' traffic systems.The following knowledge and experience is also essential:
Experience in managing senior Managers of technical development teams (preferably software development)
Budget Manager's experience and ability to formulate and manage budgets in excess of 3.0M per annum, in an environment, which is committed to Best Value
Experience in formulating business cases for obtaining resources and delivering against business objectives
Business planning, financial management and budget planning, including experience in formulating business cases for obtaining resources and pursuing these with Experience in writing tender specifications, adjudicating tenders and managing contracts
Relevant traffic engineering experience focussing on traffic control operations in a major city environment
Experience of leading a community of practice/professional community in the process of innovation or problem solving using structured processes involving internal and external groups
Partnering experience with traffic management stakeholders eg boroughs, consultants etc.
Experience of senior operational responsibility for traffic management control in a "Real Time" traffic systems environment.
Demonstrable proven delivery of innovation in the transport industry
Experience of strategic planning and project management
