My client based in Woking are currently looking for a Commercial Analyst on a 4-6month contract
Accountabilities
*Develop ROI analysis and reporting in relation to customer bonuses and VIP programmes
*Use analysis/reports to form commercial recommendations that will drive improvements around effectiveness of spend
*Present recommendations to remote exec team for approval and then drive through to completion
*Develop a new weekly process that will involve liaising with all key individuals within the marketing team in order to accurately capture incurred costs in a simple to consume format for the Remote exec team
*Create clear accountabilities for cost management within the marketing team with appropriate weekly reporting of variances to plan
*Working closely with the financial controller to ensure that periodic costs in the management accounts tie with weekly forecasts
*Any other adhoc analysis requests that are prioritised by the marketing director
Knowledge Skills & Experience
*Ideally a qualified accountant (preferably CIMA)
*Ideally has experience working in the online gambling industry
*Extensive experience of planning, forecasting and delivery of insight through analysis, preferably within a customer-facing online business
*Advanced knowledge of modelling and analytical techniques
*Advanced level of excel and systems skills - experience with databases and dashboards desirable
*Strong written communications skills
*Experience of delivering complex and difficult insight projects
*Ability to manage and manipulate large volumes of data
*Proven track record of delivering quantifiable benefits to businesses
*Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
*Demonstrable track record of commercial awareness
*Results driven, able to work at fast pace and juggle multiple priorities whilst ensuring accuracy.
*Must be a proactive and personable individual who has the ability to take ownership of this area and drive improvement
