This contract opportunity available is for a System Engineer .Our client is looking at you will design, deploy, support and maintain all server, storage, operating system and applications in all Client technology environments.

Required behaviours for all positions:

Education: Bachelors degree in computer science or electrical engineering and/or 5 years equivalent work experience.

Experience: Proven experience and success with Active Directory, Server , SharePoint , Exchange , SQL , VMware ESX 3x/4x Server, and IIS 6/7 design and implementation; proven experience with storage capacity planning, systems security principles, and advanced network management best practices; strong, hands-on technical knowledge of storage and server operating systems; expert technical knowledge of current server and storage hardware, protocols, and standards, including but not limited to enterprise class Servers, SAN and NAS configuration and management, SAS/SCSI based DAS, Tape Drives/Libraries and RAID Controllers.

Expert software and application experience:
Active Directory, Group Policies and Login Scripts, Exchange (Front and Backend Servers), VMware Virtualization, Exchange Archiving, strong IIS Web Server knowledge, Internal and External DNS, Image Right, SQL Administration, Web Content Filter, SPAM Filter, Antivirus Software, Network based System Backups, ACT!, Password Security, Audit Compliancy, Network Monitoring Tools, Network Security, Terminal Services/Citrix, Roaming Profiles; excellent hardware troubleshooting experience; extensive application support experience with Terminal Services; competence with practices and procedures for build highly available, fault tolerant environments; knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.

Skills and Abilities:
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills; Extremely proficient troubleshooting, problem solving skills and root cause analysis, highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail; self-disciplined in adhering to corporate control processes; able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment; willingness to assist other technical teams outside area of expertise; strong customer service orientation; experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Desirable Scom, MCSE Certification in Windows Server 2003, MCTS Certification in Windows Server 2008
