Description
Aston Carter is looking for an experienced SAP FICO consultant to be involved in a major SAP implementation project in Europe.
Responsibilities:
* Implementing smaller and larger projects in FI and CO, especially in newer European countries (Baltics, Russia, Hungaria, Romania, greece, Turkey).
* Make accurate estimations for SAP FICO (part of) projects (functional work and ABAP work, underlying assumptions), detailed resource plan, timeline
* Understand and assist with gathering business requirements (URS)
* Translate the user requirements into detailed functional design, application configuration and testing scenario's
* Lead the users through UAT
* Communciate with Team members and Portfolio Management through all phases of the project to provide accurate status and projections.
* Be accountable for on time and within budget delivery, solution meeting URS and functional specs, no bugs
Required Skills:
- SAP R/3 ECC6 FICO: FI-GL, FI-AR, FI-AP, FI-AA, CO-OM
- Account determination in MM and SD (supply chain environment)
- Experienced in FICO Requirements gathering, customer interaction, detailed documentation of requirements, solutions and functional specifications, including the creation of process and data flows.
Excellent documentation skills is a must (also documenting as is solutions).
- Strong analytical skills, combined with strong synthesis skills. A scientific/technical background combined with sound knowledge of Finance and Controlling processes is a must. Master degree in Finance and Controlling or equivalent through experience.

- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
- SAP integrations
Desired Skills:
- MM, SD for Supply Chain
- CO-PCA and CO-PA
- SOX environment experience
- Familiar with formal change management and System Development Life Cycle
- Additional certification (eg Project Management)
- SAP Authorizations
- PM certification
- SAP FICO certification (Professional)
Qualifications:
- Master degree in Controlling, Commercial Engineering or Science
- Minimum 6-8 years of SAP FI experience is required, with at least a full implementation cycle of FI-GL, FI-AR, FI-AP and FI-AA. Knowlegde of CO-OM, CO-PCA, CO-PA is required as well, but no full implementation cycle is required.
- Good knowledge of SAP integrations (IDOC, BAPI, )
A scientific/technical background combined with sound knowledge of Finance and Controlling processes is a must.

Location: Antwerp, Belgium (but with travel in Europe)
