IT Procurement Manager, Vendors, Purchasing, IT Services, IT Products, IT Contracts, Negotiation, Procuring, Procurement, PC Hardware, International Trade Regulations, SAP Systems - My client based in Brussels is currently looking an experienced IT Procurement Manager to join their team. If accepted to to the project your tasks will include
- Organize tenders for sourcing of new IT projects, products or services
- Follow-up of periodic contract renewals for software, hardware and services
- Evaluate vendor responses
- Prepare contract negotiations
- Interact with internal IT account managers, service managers and business representatives
- Translate business demands into service requirements
Candidates should have the following skills and knowledge -
Skills:
- Extensive experience in a purchasing function
- Punctual and result oriented
- Comfortable in working in a multi-cultural, multi-language environment
- Good command of English both verbal and in writing, other European languages are an asset.
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independent
Knowledge
- Excellent knowledge of IT products and services
- Extensive experience in negotiating and managing IT contracts
- Experience in procuring PC hardware
- Knowledge about international trade regulations
- Experience in working with SAP systems
This will be a 6 month contract initially with the possibility of an extension.
