Scope

We are seeking a Service Delivery Architect with over 7 years IT Service Management experience.

The role will be to work in our consultancy teams on client sites, who are major global enterprises. Location: San Francisco Bay Area. Initially this will be a 3-4 month engagement, with potential extension.

Typical activities will be to help clients define, develop and implement IT service models for new infrastructure services relating to End User Computing (EUC), Virtual Infrastructure and Cloud services. Typical deliverables will include service definitions, service level agreements, operational processes, operational level agreements and service delivery strategy.


We also expect candidates to have project and program management experience and to be able to establish and run a governance structure for transformation programs.

Required Experience

We expect the candidates to have operational experience of:
  • Program governance structures and practices;
  • Service Transition and Service Operation, including Change Management, Performance Management, Capacity Management;
  • EUC, Virtualization or Cloud services transformation programs
  • Enterprise class desktop, server, networking and storage hardware
  • VMware and Microsoft Windows infrastructure
  • Systems management and automation tools for provisioning, monitoring and administrating the above

We expect the candidate to have strong management skills, including communications, stakeholder management and leadership, developed in corporate IT organizations.

The candidate will have a good understanding of the relationship between own specialism and wider client requirements. They will communicate fluently and be able to present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
