Description
Client looking for a Query Resource that has extensive PeopleSoft Query and PeopleSoft 8.9 & 9.1 experience for their PeopleSoft project upgrade. The scope of query analysis, design, and coding phases encompass all queries in production. Queries may need updates due to changes in tables and field names and/or because functionality may have changed. All public queries will be updated and tested. Private queries update guidelines will be documented and distributed to all private query owners, however, the update of the private queries will be the responsibility of the private query owners.
Responsibilities:
Resource will test and upgrade all public queries.
Resource will review the Query Analysis document provided and will prioritize queries based on business need. Each query will be analyzed to determine the actions required: no changes, update required, or obsolete. The query analyst will make any necessary changes to the queries and test. It is possible that in some cases new queries may be created.
Resource will assist with documentation of any items of importance relating to queries for training purposes and for the production support team.
Resource will create documentation to be used by private query owners as a guideline on how to make the upgrade-required changes to queries.
There are expected to be a handful of private queries that are deemed production critical that will need to be updated and functioning at time of go live. The resource will identify these and ensure that they are ready at go live.
Resource will meet with Client query team to discuss progress and issues; status will be reported to the upgrade project manager on a weekly basis. All issues will be documented.
