Description
Background:
Product Control have a ongoing programme to automate and offshore reconciliations, many of which currently reside in End User built platforms, or require significant manual input. The programme seeks to re-engineer the reconciliations by moving to strategic IT platforms and improving processes and inputs to save time, whilst off-shoring as much as possible to reduce costs.
The focus of this particular role will be in the London Product Control area.
Minimum Qualification and Experience:
-Qualified Accountant.
-Experience in Investment Banking environment specifically, in Product Control and Finance.
-Good knowledge of global market products, their behaviour and accounting implications. (commodities, in particular)
-Experienced in implementing change and the change life cycle.
-Experienced in Requirements analysis, documentation and process re-engineering.
Preferred Qualification and Experience:
-Detailed understanding and experience of reconciliation of Derivative and commodities products.
-Detailed understanding and experience of Investment Banking and Accounting software products (eg Calypso, Murex, Sophis, Summit, Treats, Microgen etc)
-Detailed knowledge of at least one asset class (commodities) of global market products, their behaviour and accounting implications.
-Experience in off-shoring processes
