Job description:
This is a high profile role providing MI and analytics to senior management around revenues, costs, balance sheet, funding, etc at a consolidated level and by customer group and country.
Responsibilities will include:
- Provision of insightful analytics/MI/commentary on a monthly/quarterly basis to senior management and Group Finance
- Enhancing existing reporting suite to deliver more value add analysis
- Development of new reporting to analyse and provide key drivers for key focus items
- Participation in planning and reforecasting processes
- Participation in production of commentaries for external reporting (annual and interim reports)
- Building and maintaining excellent relationships across multiple businesses, functions and geographies
- Ad-hoc analysis for senior management
Essential requirements:
- Qualified Accountant with significant PQE
- Commercial awareness and ability to think strategically
- Significant experience of developing and delivering reporting to a senior audience
- Ability to deliver high quality reporting in a pressurised environment and adhering to tight deadlines
- Excellent product knowledge (particularly investment banking products)
- Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and written, to senior management
- Ability to build excellent working relationships with stakeholders and to influence senior management and colleagues
- Excellent Excel skills and ability to use TM1 or Essbase (or other multi-dimensional cube environment)
- Strong problem solving and analytical ability
