Overview:
Our client, a major UK retail bank are seeking the services of a Senior Business Analyst to assist in migration of their credit card business.
Core duties of the role:
Our client requires a dedicated experienced Business Analysts with both the experience of the Credit Cards Business and Migrations. The successful person will be responsible for working with the business through the analytical phases of the project to identify and describe the requirements for change. They will evaluate the business impact of these changes and ensure that they are properly tested before implementation and validated afterwards.
Responsibilities will include:
- Requirement Engineering
- Business Process Mapping
- Risk Management with the Project Manager
- Test Planning/Management with the test teams
- Management of Business Impact Assessments
- Management of Post Live Validation
- Stakeholder Analysis
Core skills and experience required:
- Able to communicate in a clear and appropriate way to colleagues and senior managers and 3rd parties
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Sound knowledge of the change life cycle and LBG Change Management Approach
- Good knowledge of the Credit Card products and business
- Understanding of the Retail Bank operating environment
- Able to overcome barriers and setbacks positively with a sense of creativity and resilience
All of the above accountabilities/deliverables are core to the role therefore the successful candidate must have demonstrated these skills in previous roles to be considered, full ISEB qualification is desirable although not essential.
