An automotive client based in Essex is looking for a Electronics design engineer. This will be for an initial 12 month projects.
Role:
Develop best in class Audio Infotainment hardware products to meet current and future customer needs.
Taking into account best in class market products and forward technology to meet business objectives. Responsible for part or all electrical circuit design of audio products.
Typically working under direction of a senior electronics engineer.
Design and develop circuit design from breadboard to printed circuit layout using schematic capture and circuit simulation tools.
Work closely with the radio Manufacturing Plant following the product through the prototype builds and production launch.
Ensure all aspects of the design support the vehicle environmental and EMC requirements.
Conduct lab testing using a wide range of test equipment, including CAN network tools (eg CANalyser, CANOE), logic analysers, oscilloscopes, data loggers, and various measuring devices.
Skills:
Analogue electrical circuit design experience
Design & development of circuit design breadboard - circuit layout
Experience of schematic capture & circuit simulation.
Reasonable understanding of all aspects of design support for environmental and EMC requirements.
Experience of laboratory testing inc CAN network tools,logic analysers oscilloscope
A structured design approach. ie Worst Case Analysis, simulation tools
Schematic capture and simulation tool skills.
