Description
Prerequisites include:
* Minimum five years of Java programming experience
* Background in programming and web application design (good knowledge will be required)
* Java Server Side technologies experience (specifically J2EE)
* Understanding of databases, networking and open source web technologies
* Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Job description:
This role will involve but not be exclusive to the definition, design and implementation of high- scalability and availability online services and multi-channel systems. The solutions are built either on customers' distributed environments or on a Red Hat-based private cloud.
If successful, applicants will be working in one of the agile teams within a Software Architecture and Technology group. He/she will constantly be developing best practises and sharing experiences with software developers.
The role will be challenging and interesting and you will be utilising state-of-the-art tools. It will allow you to constantly keep up with advances in Java development and should be very rewarding. The start date is negotiable as are hourly rates.
