DESCRIPTION

The COOL Reporting Business Analyst will be the central point of authority for maintaining the Supply Chain Datawarehouse and reporting environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring of data ingest into the COOL Reporting environment.
  • Validate reports and ensure data loads have occurred.
  • Successfully uploading data files to the environment. This includes but is not limited to data, security, hierarchy maps and sku updates.
  • Perform file validation that changes have occurred and resolve errors as necessary.
  • Format the file using MS Excel or similar tools to meet the predefined upload standard layout.
  • Engage management quickly with issues related to the data files.
  • Use technical skill set to resolve and may involve additional technical teams to achieve that goal.
  • Process security request and maintain a log of authorizations. User will be familiar with performing file uploads and data validation tasks to ensure changes have been made correctly.
  • Maintain the training documentation library, create job aids based on high-volume issues and perform user training as needed.
  • Review helpdesk ticket reports and create job aids based on high-volume tickets.
  • Perform user training on an ongoing basis.
  • Act as central contact for issues related to the COOL Reporting environment and will provide reporting on issues to management as directed.
  • Process security file layouts to edit security privileges.
  • Validate security mappings took effect.
  • Maintain log of change files for audit purposes.
  • Ensure that shared folders only have production-ready analyses and reports. Analyst will move non-approved files to users directories.
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of an Oracle OBIEE 11g reporting environment required.
  • Must be familiar with the following databases/programs: MS SQL, Oracle Bi Publisher, MS Office, Remedy, and PL/SQL,
  • Knowledge of database management and Cold Fusion a must.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills necessary.
