SUMMARY
Write web-based programs to maintain and control computer systems software. Responsible for creating and then fine-tuning the Front End graphical user interface after it has been made.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in all phases of development from definition and design through implementation, debugging and testing
- Provide technical leadership and take ownership for component development and maintenance
- Work closely with other developers on the team to find solutions for difficult problems
- Produce clear and complete functional and design specifications
- Provide expert and timely support for customer issues that reach the development team
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors degree in computer science or relevant field required
- 1+ years experience required with GWT, preferably GXT
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and interpersonal skills
- Expert ability to work independently and manage one's time
- Expert ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issues
- GXT (a.k.a. Ext GWT) 2.1.0+ (GUI is built on GXT)
- GWT 2.1.0+ (if not familiar with GXT specifically, general GWT aptitude will do with a learning curve)
- Java 5+ (General Java coding experience always helps )
