The Infrastructure Project Manager will partner with local market personnel, corporate team members, hosting providers and System Integrators to manage the delivery of a program of accelerated deployment projects for Europe and Asia/Pacific markets geared towards implementation of standard financial business process, applications and technologies. Focus on collaboration with other program and project managers to drive delivery of infrastructure to support project activities while building sustainable, expandable, maintainable production, development and testing environments

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the successful delivery of non-complex multiple projects, or a complex single project that satisfies specific intra-departmental business needs.
  • Lead the detailed analysis and development of a defined solution.
  • Apply structured Project Management methodology to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, in scope, and are relevant to the business objectives.
  • Responsible for a program of infrastructure projects to design, build, deploy and manage all aspects of the infrastructure required for products (Oracle EBS, OBIEE and Hyperion Planning).
  • Apply defined practices to ensure the program is delivered on time, on budget, in scope, and is relevant to the business objectives.
  • Establishes the market deployment plan(s) in collaboration with project leads based on the established project approach. This includes assignment of infrastructure team resources, creating tangible and relevant tasks and engagement of hosting provider and IT/Foundation.
  • Develops communication plan for key messages, program updates, and key decisions related to infrastructure activities.
  • Collaborates with Change Enablement to ensure risks and dependencies are documented and managed.
  • Collaborates with other project managers (including those within the market) and oversees the completion of all plan tasks and milestones. This includes ensuring that the appropriate delivery management disciplines are adhered to (eg schedule management, quality management, communications plan, change control management, risk management, issue management, etc.).
  • Manages design, build and deployment of infrastructure components with hosting provider.
  • Collaborates with key customers (market, region, global; both IT and Shared Services) to ensure client expectations are understood and in-line with program objectives and global implementation commitments
  • Builds strong relationships with market teams and global governance.
  • Plays advisory role, as required, to identify people requirements and skill sets needed to meet project and program goals.
  • Serves as escalation point for infrastructure related issues and concerns.
  • Maintains professional relationships with peers in other corporations and outside organizations.
Qualifications:
  • Requires five to seven years progressive project management experience.
  • Requires knowledge and application of project management methodologies in complex environments.
  • Expertise/knowledge in technologies in-use is required, including, but not limited to Unix, Linux, VBLOCK, Active Directory (for authentication) and SAN storage technologies.
  • Required Bachelor's Degree in preferred schools of Computer Science or Business.
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with staff at all levels both within and outside the company.
  • Strong project/team coordination skills.
  • PMP or Program Management certified is a plus.
  • Ability to multi-task and keep projects and teams on track for successful delivery.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills (able to build partnerships while setting clear expectations).
  • Experienced in infrastructure management with proven track record for holding hosting partner accountable, ensuring deadlines and performance expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Displays self-confidence and knowledge of the technologies and standards.
  • Minimum seven years of overall experience in IT projects.
  • Over five years experience in Project or Program Management delivery of complex and global technology projects.
  • Solid writing and presentation skills required.
  • Desired high influencing capabilities (Matrix organization, virtual/remote team).
  • Fluent in MS Office tools.
  • Experience in retail/restaurant industry is a plus.
  • Ability and willingness to travel between Asian local markets and USA as and when required.
  • Ability and willingness to conduct teleconference discussion during non-standard business hours to accommodate participants from other time zones.
