DESCRIPTIONThe Civil Drafter will modify and manipulate AutoCAD drawings to include current borders and title blocks.
Responsibilities:
- Populating title blocks and assigning drawing numbers for all drawings.
- Migrating drawings into ADEPT and creating associated library cards.
- At times may be assigned to develop as-built drawings for capital projects.
- Civil/Structural drafting experience (structural steel details, and concrete foundations) is preferable as is a working knowledge to develop/interpret plan and profile drawings.
- Strong capability and technical depth utilizing AutoCad 2010 software required.
- Understanding the use and proper application of paper space and model space.
- Ability to readily work with raster files, including scaling.
- Working knowledge of industry accepted drafting standards, symbols, and methods.
- Experience with drawing tif files, raster editing, and file manipulation/scaling.
- Experience with drawing file management software and associated control processes.
- Must be able to work in an environment with shifting schedules and priorities.
