Our client, a global Operator in the oil and gas industry, is looking to expand their team and are looking for a Construction Site Manager - Narrows. The duties of the Construction Site Manager will be to manage all aspects of their area of construction and ensure the Narrows are delivered safely and efficiently within budget. In addition, the Construction Site Manager will be required to oversee the work of the field supervisor, construction contractors and service providers ensuring work is completed in line with contracts for service.

Key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Ensure safety has the highest priority and is at the forefront of planning, execution and in all dealings with contractors and service providers
Perform ASA's (Advanced Safety Audits) and contractor compliance audits on a regular basis
Point of contact for the reporting of work site incidents and be part of and initiate accident and incident investigations as required
Attend Contractor safety meetings and HSSE forum meetings
Ensure all safety actions are tracked and closed out in a timely manner
Ensure an equipment assurance programme is in place
Ensure all construction teams are in compliance with required mandatory certification
Ensure emergency response preparedness

Required skills, experience and attributes will include but are not limited to:
Educated in an engineering discipline (HND minimum or equivalent)
Commitment to safety
Knowledge of construction standards and regulations
Excellent interpersonal skills
Project management skills
Ability to make prompt decisions with a continual focus on safety outcomes
