For one of our big clients we are searching: Senior Analyst Programmer in SAS:
Main skills:
+6 years of experience in SAS
Knowledge of software development and database technology
Fluency in English
Good communication skills
Ability to analyse users' requirements and design and implement appropriate solutions.
Expertise in statistics
Task:
1-Improvement and evolutive maintenance of SAS programmes used for the production of cross-sectional datasets and indicators
This task comprises:
Analysis and risk assessment of SAS routines when necessary;
Methodological as well as programming work;
Testing of the performance of the programmes;
Validation of the programmes.
2-Development and maintenance of SAS programmes to be used for validation of longitudinal datasets
This task comprises:
Development of a production tool for the automatic analysis of longitudinal weights variables;
Development or adaptation of programmes for the year to year comparison of variables in the longitudinal datasets;
Development or adaptation of programmes for outliers detection of outliers in the variables of the longitudinal datasets (similar to the cross-sectional process);
Testing of the developed solution in the test environment and on acceptance transfer to the production environment.
3- Development of SAS programmes for specific purposes
This task comprises:
Finalisation of programmes for the recoding of extreme income values with the development of programmes to recode top income values;
Development of programmes for the imputation of income values with respect to the methodological requirements for accounting for Social Transfers in kind;
Finalisation of programmes for Confidence Intervals of SILC based estimates;
Development or adaptation of programmes for the calculation of new datasets and indicators.
Testing of the developed solution in the test environment and on acceptance transfer to the production environment.
