System Architecture Analysis & Debug Engineer: Embedded Platforms, Linux and/or Android
Responsible for debug of platform complex problems on smartphone reference design
- Structure and Drive debug plan definition and progress
- Perform cross domain problem analysis to isolate problem root cause
- Propose solution to cover architecture gap when needed, drive problem till solution release
Required Experience from the Debug Engineer (Linux/Android)
- 3 to 10 years of experience in Embedded or wireless platform system such as smartphone
- Strong Experience debugging complex system issues across the stack including drivers, Middleware/framework, up to applications
- Good Linux and/or Android architecture or debug experience, C, C++,Java experience required
- Capability to ramp quickly on new domains and understand expected behavior, starting architecture documents and code exploration
- Understanding of overall Wireless system architecture including telephony stack software, Audio and connectivity (WLAN, Bluetooth) framework is a plus
Education Requirements: Master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills required, capability to work in a multi-cultural multi-site environment
Desired Experience
- Cellular Modem and BT/WIFI/GPS integration with an Apps processor
- Experience in wireless product development including telephony stack software, Video framework and connectivity software [GSM, GPRS, EDGE, WCDMA, LTE] is a plus
