Description
We are seeking a SAP BW Deployment Analyst to work for a FTSE 100 Company for 3 months in Middlesex.
The Deployment Analyst will operate as a core member of the FBW deployment teams. Reporting to a Deployment Team Lead, they will apply the central FBW design and generic mappings to the local situation, train and coach local SMEs and users in the principles and usage of FBW, use the central toolkit templates and standards to guide each deployment, drive the local data cleansing and mapping process and facilitate business validation of the resultant data and reporting submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will become a core team member of the Finance BW Programme. Reporting to one of the Deployment Team Leads, the Deployment Analyst will be responsible for:
Carrying out local data cleansing, mapping and validation activities in conjunction with local business resources
Facilitating validation of the new data submission processes through parallel submission and providing quarter-end post-go live support
Supporting the global transition to a new consolidation entity structure for the areas in scope
Raising and responding to issues and risks as necessary
Essential experience & qualifications
Relevant work experience within a Finance team of a business segment or relevant areas of central Finance or IT functions
Previous involvement in and experience of systems deployment activities, with an emphasis on data preparation/mapping and user training
College degree, specialised training or equivalent work experience
Preferable experience & qualifications
SAP BW reporting experience
Previous involvement in and experience of process mapping
Accounting qualification
