6 month plus contract for an IT Auditor.
Responsible for designing an individual audit approach that provides an overall assessment of risks and IT operating performance.
Duties include:
Developing a risk assessment and work program to identify the business controls of an IT operation or process and to assess their effectiveness in mitigating risks.
Must comprehensively address the assigned area with minimum resources, yet addressing all major risks and associated controls.
Execute the audit plan and program performing appropriate analyses, document work and develop the final report that includes recommended enhancements to business processes.
The IT auditor should have a working knowledge in most of the following areas: IT Mainframe and Client Server environments, system development methodologies including WEB applications, general computer controls, operating systems security for UNIX, Oracle and DB2 data base security, networks and Firewall configurations, cyber security, and data center reviews for the corporate data center, plant DCS systems as well with new emerging technologies.
The IT auditor should maintain technical proficiency on technical issues, risks, methods, emerging technologies, etc. This includes the performance of benchmarking and research with external companies, professional societies and academia to derive best practices.
Local candidates preferred. Must work hourly on a w-2. Email resumes.
