Description
My client is looking for a highly motivated year end accountant to provide financial support and advise the finance function during their closure of accounts.
Responsibilities include:
- Year End closure of the financial accounts
- Assisting with the management of the Closedown process.
- Preparing statement of accounts
- Preparing core statements, including balance sheet, comprehensive income and expenditure statement, movement in reserves and cash flow
- Preparing other key notes to the accounts
- Preparing analytical review of key notes
- Preparing working papers for audit
- Acting as a key point of contact for Finance team and audit
Up to date knowledge of IFRS and procedures and technical accounting public sector experience are essential for this position and applicants must be available to start immediately or at minimum notice.
