The System Validator is responsible for System Validation of HMI/ExBox and Video features running in the Head Unit, mainly from End User perspective
Must be able to understand and review the System Requirements and High Level Features(HLF) for HMI/ExBox and Video defined in DOORS tool. Must be able to implement the Test Cases based on the Requirements and HLF for HMI/ExBox, Video, understand the Use Cases. Flashing the Head Unit with different System Builds and using related Tools. Understand the communication between HMI/Headunit with external peripheral devices - DashBoard etc. Planning, creation and execution of the tests using the Test environment Setup.Collecting Trace Logs for the Test executed using Tools Evaluation and reporting of the results Technical Skills:
Experience working in Automotive/Embedded domain and proficiency in Real Time OS (Linux, Linux Embedded) C/C++ programming skills(Basic), Programming skills in Scripting Language - Automated testing, UML(Basics) Understand HMI functionalities and related Terminologies - GUI Panels composition and Menu Transition, Multimedia sources switch and Application settings management, User settings, Sound configuration, personalization, Vehicle information, HMI Communication over MOST, Video applications(Analog, Digital - Rear Camera views), Control messages and IO messages check. Related tools - MOST Optolyzer, Diagnostic Log and Trace Familiar with automotive bus systems, MOST,CAN and related tools like CANanalyzer Experience in System Validation Life cycle.
Note: Experience in Real Time Embedded systems developments; The above competences have to be matured in automotive area
