Description
Link Technologies is seeking experienced Back End tester for a contract assignment in Las Vegas. Responsible for the planning execution and tracking of Functional, Regression and System/Integration and Performance testing for a large Datawarehouse. They will work closely with the developers, database analysts, and other team members to design and create test data sets in SQL to test Back End technical integration functionality.
Duties:
- Design and create test data sets:
- Write SQL scripts;
- Document bug discrepancies on the system
- Execute test cases to requirements mapping;
- Analyze formal test results in order to discover and report any defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws.
- Review database tables in Teradata
Skill Required:
- 7-10 years of experience in QA Testing.
- Minimum of 5 years in Back End testing of relational databases is a must.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in writing SQL Queries on large database systems.
- Strong, end-to-end understanding and experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and processes for software testing/quality assurance guidelines
- Excellent working knowledge of RDBMS and other data technologies eg, Oracle, Unix, IDMS
- Excellent Communication Skills.
- Experience working on large complex Client Server database systems.
Skill Preferred:
- 3 years of experience in Datawarehouse systems.
- 3 years of experience on Teradata Relational databases.
- Experience working with hospitality systems in casino gaming environment strongly preferred.
