Title: UI Java Developer
Location: San Francisco, CA; Charlotte, NC; Newark, DE or Hopewell, NJ. Can work from home 1-2 days a week, but will need to be onsite 100% until 100% up to speed.

Duration: 11 months

Our client, a leading financial institution, seeks a UI Java Developer.  The consultant will be responsible for conducting/coordinating the UI and/or J2EE code development activities on ECOMMERCE/MCOMMERCE projects/initiatives.  SSE will bring together the various development activities that are required to be performed on ECOMMERCE/MCOMMERCE project and oversee the entire project deliverable from software technical design and coding perspective.  While assigned to a project, the SSE will represent the development team to the other support groups such as UI development, line of business sponsors, functional testing, tech/stress testing, and environment-support group.

Project Work:
This team is responsible for the mobile banking application such as the one you find in the App Store on your phone.

Must Haves:
- Java.
- J2EE.
- WebServices (REST & JS).
- HTML (HTML5 preferred).
- JavaScript.
- CSS (CSS3 preferred).
- Object Oriented Development.
- SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.
- Candidate must be a self-starter, motivated, innovative, and capable of mentoring junior developers.

Highly Preferred:
- Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
