Description
This is a team leadership role requiring very strong technical and architectural skills .
Duties:
*Work with core development team to identify implementation requirements.
*Create Proof-Of-Concepts for implementation and define initial implementation contracts
*Communicate progress to project stakeholders and react appropriately to any impediments or risks.
*Coordinate deliveries with other development teams
*Create metrics and track progress against them
Requirements:
*Team leadership or experience in a senior role
*Experienced software developer with broad understanding of all aspects of optimal software development
*Ability to influence technical discussions and provide technical leadership
*Ability to anticipate problems and take decisive action, giving regard to the impact on other project teams, development partners and stakeholders
*Ideal candidate will have 7 years hands on industry experience, with at least 3 years team lead experience
*Experience across a broad spectrum of technologies along with experience of integrating them together.
*Experience across all major MS tools and technologies from an implementation and maintenance perspective - including SQL Server, Windows, IIS, SSRS, SSIS, ASP.NET, Active Directory and *Exchange services and experience with platforms such as Sharepoint would be an ideal.
*Experience with automated installation tools.
*Strong Infrastructure experience - virtualisation, network topologies etc
*Ability to work with and develop Scripting tools such as powershell.
