Description
Role Description:We have an immediate contract requirement for a VBA Analyst/Programmer based on Client site in Dublin. This will be at least a 6 month contract though we expect the project to last for upto 18 months. The environment is challenging but will be rewarding. You will be expected to contribute to development, testing, and QA stages of multiple functional changes including complex queries, functions, tables and reports.
Essential skills:
The ideal person will have 3+ year's complex VB.NET, VB or VBA experience and have experience in the following:
- Proficient in MS Access and Excel
- Experience working to coding standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience of developing strategic solutions for business users
- Client facing experience a distinct advantage
- Good problem solver
- Microsoft Certified
- IT Related Degree
- MS SQL Server experience
- .NET and other Microsoft skills an advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record of working effectively within a diverse team of technical and business stakeholders.
- Excellent client interfacing skills
