SYSTEMS SECURITY ANALYST & SYSTEM SECURITY ADMINISTRATOR
- Requires a Systems Security Analyst with experience in routing, switching, configuration, Firewalls, IDS, IPS to provide security assessment, planning, implementation, auditing, security tools such as AV, anti-malware S/W; vulnerability assessment; network access control, Identity and Access Management; Data Loss Prevention; intrusion detection (IDS); designing, implementing, and maintaining information security solutions for a large enterprise.
- Will audit existing systems, identify risks, investigate security breaches and concerns and propose solutions to mitigate potential risks plus extensive interaction with business units and stakeholders to determine security needs and manage implementation of security related projects.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The System Security Analyst will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining information security solutions for a large enterprise and r equires experience working with customers and im plementing security measures INCLUDING routing, switching, configuration, Firewalls, IDS and IPS.
- The position will require extensive interaction with business units and stakeholders to determine security needs and manage implementation of security related projects.
- Will audit existing systems, identify risks, and propose solutions to mitigate potential risks.
- This position serves as an internal consultant to multiple business areas within the organization, and will require strong communication skills for gathering information as well as reporting to management.
- Will create, document, and promote internal security standards, policies, and procedures.
- Will provide security administration for the organization's network infrastructure, including routing, switching.
- Will respond to and investigate security breaches and concerns
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Requires 5 years experience in systems security assessment s, imp lementing security measures INCLUDING routing, switching, configuration, Firewalls, IDS and IPS.
- Will audit existing systems, identify risks, investigate security breaches and concerns and propose solutions to mitigate potential risks plus extensive interaction with business units and stakeholders to determine security needs and manage implementation of security related projects.
- Technical skills in end-point security tools such as AV, anti-malware S/W; vulnerability assessment; network access control, Identity and Access Management; Data Loss Prevention; and intrusion detection (IDS).
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- BS Degree in Information Systems and Security or a related 4 year degree.- A PLUS: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) OR GIAC Certified Intrusion Analysis (GCIA) OR GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH).
- This is a contract or contract-to-hire position in Cleveland, OH.
