WebSphere Technical Solution Architect, 6 months Dublin

One of our major IT clients is looking for WebSphere Technical Solution Architect to join their team in Dublin North for 6 months + contract.

There will be extensive EU travel for these roles.

Ideally we are looking for this person to be based in Ireland as their home base.

This role assumes overall technical responsibility for the success of solution construction, implementation and system integration in a technology, industry or business speciality. They deliver new and complex high quality solutions to clients in response to varying business requirements. They utilize in-depth knowledge of leading-edge products and technology in conjunction with industry and business skills to influence clients.

Skills required:
-The candidate will have strong experience in designing or implementing integration environments for financial messaging ideally based on WebSphere technology. This could be for an EAI, Message Hub or SOA like environment.
-Payments experience
-The candidate will have experience in taking Customers requirements for an integration environment and building an appropriate solution to meet these needs.
-The candidate will have detailed experience with some or all of the following IBM WebSphere (WMB, WAS, WPS), Java development, Financial Messaging.
-Good communication skills are essential.
-The candidate may also be required to participate in pre-sales activity to convince Customers of the value of solutions relating to Financial Messaging particularly in the area of Payments processing.
