Our industry leading client is looking to take on a Security Engineer. The main remit of the role will be to deliver high quality systems integration services to their customer base and develop in-depth technological knowledge within the specialist domain..
You will be in a customer facing role, and you should be able to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of network security technologies including Firewalls, load balancers, Intrusion Prevention Systems, Authentication systems and VPN technology. Ideal candidate would also hold a current CISA or CISSP badge and some recent Microsoft certifications.
After the 6 months have expired there is a huge likelihood of renewal.
You Will;
- Design and implement solutions based on but not limited the clients existing portfolio eg Cisco, RSA Security, Fortinet, etc which are underpinned by an understanding of Security theory, Security technologies and IP Networking.
- Assist in presentations to customers, verbal and written.
- Input to proposals where specific technical authority is required.
- Production of high level & low level design documents
- Interface with Sales, Pre-sales, Service, Product Management and other areas as necessary to ensure the explicit objectives of the role are delivered upon.
- Verbal & Written articulation of complex technical solutions
- Achieve/working to achieve relevant recognised qualifications such as CCSP, CCNP, CCSE, CISSP, CISA,
CISM, CGEIT, CRISC, MCSE, RSA-CSE, FCNSP, etc. Multiple certifications is a requirement.
