An excellent contract opportunity to be part of a large Oil and Gas operator that offers a challenging working environment. Candidates must have strong experience providing project support and experience providing direction in procedural compliance. Candidates must also have strong experience working in a similar role within the Oil and Gas sector

Primary Functions:

  • Responsible for Executing the Project onshore and offshore management organisation by giving clear guidance and direction in procedural compliance with work being executed in a safe manner.
  • Promote a team Safety culture onshore by leading STOP and PSI procedures and encouraging team to encompassing the organisations Safety Policies and encouraging participation by all the ALEP team. Oversee Engineering and Construction activities to ensure company safety, quality & environmental philosophies are met.
  • Monitoring all project related offshore works/activities, ensuring compliance with approved scopes of work, procedural compliance and that the work is executed in an entirely safe manner.
  • Establish lines of communication with various inter office teams to ensure NUI's BOD's and Anomalies list are correct for WI compilation and returned WI's from offshore are accurate, signed off and distributed to the correct departments for close out.
  • Will liaise with the COMOPS and Barge OIM to support all physical interface/de-interface operations between the Barge and company operated installations through the management of construction trade disciplines.
  • Will monitor the allocation of offshore resources and man hours; review the progress of the daily report that will be issued prior to the daily meeting with the offshore Construction manager.
  • Oversee the project planner and plans to ensure accurate work scopes are entered into the project plans. Responsible for reporting of progress reporting and "S" curves to ensure project is on target.
  • Accountable for the identification of the A&OI anomalies and ensuring the scopes have been rectified.
  • Immediately advise the Project Manager of issues, concerns, matters relating to project activities that may have an impact on HSE, schedule and or budget.

Critical Skills:

Proven HSE core valves consistent with the organisations stated policies and goals. Drive and commitment to deliver activities on schedule and in budget. Good communication, networking, facilitation and presentation skills.

Basic/Required Qualifications/Experience:

Proven record of successful project execution combined with superior standard of safety leadership.

Preferred Qualifications/Experiences:

Engineering degree or extensive project experience in the offshore/onshore oil and gas industry.
