Description
A local government organisation based in the West Midlands currently requires an Interim Year End/IFRS Accountant for a period of at least 1 month, for 3 days per week.
Duties will include leading on year end, coaching and mentoring finance colleagues and more junior members of the team and resolving queries varying in complexity, regarding IFRS compliance and year end closedown.
You will also be required to liaise with the Audit Commission regarding any audit queries and will provide help and support for the Head of Finance. This may include investigative finance work and is most likely to cover a range of elements of the closedown process.
To apply for this role, you must be a CCAB qualified accountant with up-to-date knowledge and experience of IFRS and Year End within local government.
