Retail Marketing Executive

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Marketing Executive in North London. Our client requires a Marketing Executive with experience of the retail sector to work on their most high-profile marketing project to date.

Reporting the Retail Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will provide support for all aspects of the new store roll out programme to ensure all point of sale and additional marketing communications are in place correctly for each store opening.

Although initially for a month, the scope of the programme is that in which there is every possibility that the contract will be extended to run much longer than the initial duration.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

*Manage the end-to-end production of all bespoke POS items defined by store size and scaling logic.
*Manage the relevant external agencies to ensure a full support package in place at all times (print, creative, distribution).
*Be the lead point of contact for any operational or field based queries arising from the store launch process and action as appropriate.
*Take ownership for all new store point of sale reprints and ensure that appropriate stock levels are maintained across all items, whilst also making sure the budget is met and not exceeded.
*Ensure any reactive marketing activity is appropriately integrated into the new store opening programme, so if there is a change in focus at the national level, this is also reflected in the new store as it opens.
*Build a new store opening review process that allows for a cycle of continuous improvement and development, this could involve a regular programme of store visits, customer insight and feedback, etc. This will be shared across the business on a monthly basis.
*Take ownership for our flagship store and ensure that this environment is always fully up to date to support any press or supplier visit activity.
*As our flagship store tends to be a hot house for the testing of new customer activities or innovations, this role will also take ownership of the trial/testing programme. This will involve working with different external parties and developing the required marketing support to turn an initial idea into a fully customer facing trial.
*Manage all new store opening related costs according to budget, ensuring all purchase orders are raised in a timely manner, and receipted/reported on appropriately
*Manage, maintain and report on the new store opening marketing budget

*Good level of previous marketing experience in a retail environment

*Advanced excel and reporting skills
