Communications Specialist

We require a number of Communications Specialists to join one of the largest Internet banking programmes in the UK. The successful Communications Specialist will provide specialist communications support to readiness and implementation managers in relation to the deployment of change to the Internet banking platform and service.

Communication audiences may include retail customers of the Internet bank, commercial customers, operational, compliance and other colleagues. On occasion major marketing and advertising campaigns are mounted, and the communications must maintain alignment with those campaigns.

Criteria for Communication Specialist

  • Experience of retail Internet banking
  • Record of delivering communications related to operational change
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Change management
  • Organisational awareness
  • Procedural/Product/Specialist knowledge (Communications is key)

Accountabilities of Successful Communications Specialists

  • To understand the communications requirements associated with each planned change to the Internet bank
  • To agree any necessary communications products and schedules
  • Deliver the required communications products and to deploy them to the required schedule
  • Support post deployment communication related to defects, incidents, work arounds and fixes
  • Communication methods include text messages, emails, letters, presentations and other formats.
