In close co-operation with colleagues from software and other disciplines (mechatronics, optics, electronics) the software engineer is a member of a multi-disciplinary team. In these teams software plays an important role for the success of ASML. Since software is an integrating competency, it is an essential added value for ASML.
Education
Bachelor or Master level with an education in Embedded Systems, Computer Science, Informatics, Mechatronics, Engineering or comparable.
Experience
We are looking for engineers with 2 to 5 years of experience. Key competencies at the software department are Unix/Linux, C, C++, UML, Real Time, Python, VxWorks.

The department Embedded Software Development (ES) is responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of the software of the complex lithographic machines. Client creates high tech machines; software engineers from ES are facing several aspects of nature like gas, fluids, optics, mechatronics and more at the highest speed and accuracy. A huge code base is maintained and under strict configuration management to provide maximum commonality between different machine types.
