For one of our international end clients in The Hague we are looking for a Front End Web developer.
Candidate must be willing to occasionally travel to other client sites within the EU.

Job description:
To implement a UI using Javascript and leading frameworks to conform with established style & design.
Development of Javascript/JQuery web application implementing the UI concept
Unit Tests (unit, integration and regression tests)
Technical architecture of the website, object-oriented design
Technical documentation
You have:
strong expertise and history in web application development.
Excellent knowledge of JavaScript (not Java), JSON, jQuery, CSS
Excellent knowledge of mark-up and style sheet languages (HTML 4/5, XHMTL, CSS Level 2+
, XML, DTD/XML schema, XSL)
Excellent knowledge in applying REST and web/AJAX security measures
Very good knowledge of patterns and widgets (GWT, Yahoo UI, etc.)
Very good knowledge of test driven development approach and SCRUM methodology
Familiar with JIRA, Confluence and Greenhopper (SCRUM support)
Familiar with writing Unit Tests and the Hudson test environment
In particular, in view of the expected UI concept, it is a strong advantage ifyou are able to show experience with the following technical solutions:
web editors, incl. advanced search & replace
pagination concepts for viewing documents
document viewing & annotating documents, incl. text and image version of documents
highlighting text in documents, incl. scrollable highlighter bars
text comparison tools and display of differences,
manipulation of Embedded images in text documents,
object manipulation and animation,
storage and reuse of objects in the UI
dynamic menus,
graphical representation of status information, eg dashboard
sliding-in windows
Optionally, experience with the following technical solutions would be a further advantage
image comparison and display of differences;
development of unit tests and integration in the Hudson environment
Excellent web development skills and a fast understanding of the UI concept and the technical framework of the project are a mandatory!
The candidate should be fluent in spoken and written English.
