DESCRIPTION:
Our client requires the services of a Senior Business Analyst, to provide deliverables including, but not limited to, the following:
- Manage a team of business, technical and project staff, as well as a larger team including leveraged resources from security, privacy, policy, quality assurance and operations resources
- Collaborate with other internal project streams (CR, PR, UR, OLIS, MMS) to align deliverables and ensure appropriate consent management project integration
- Prepare and present analysis and recommendations via briefing material including issue papers, environmental scans and presentations to senior management
- Work with senior management to communicate/resolve risk, scope, budget, and schedule issues
- Development of annual business plans and budgets in alignment with eHealth Ontario and program strategy
- Engage eHealth Ontario Solution teams to define and document requirements and other dependencies relating to Cornerstone components
- Facilitate stakeholder input and consultation through a stakeholder advisory group and other stakeholder committees and forums
- Assist with the creation and review of RFP, proposals and vendor contracts to support the business objectives.
- Review project documents to ensure EHR-MCTP with all relevant legislation and regulations
- Develop, manage and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders such as the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, Health Regulatory Colleges, and community clients
- Liaise and coordinate with eHealth Ontario corporate privacy and policy staff
Qualifications and Experience:
- Over 10 years' experience in medium to large sized projects with at least some experience in technology and management consulting space, and/or public sector
- Strong working knowledge of the full Program/Project Management LifeCycle (PLC), PMBOK based as well as Software Development LifeCycle (SDLC), 7 years of experience
- Knowledge of Relational Database Systems
- Knowledge of IT systems and technical requirements
- Knowledge and experience working with the development of business models, processes policies, and procedures
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills with experience in consultations with multiple stakeholders and interest groups
- Experience working with stakeholders in the healthcare industry
- Conceptual and critical thinking skills with the ability to apply theoretical knowledge to seek practical solutions to complex problems
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, plan and execute key activities in complex project setting
- Well-developed consulting skills to gather information, achieve consensus and deliver quality solutions
- Ability to identify issues and assess change management issues related to people and organizations
- Previous experience working on projects within the Government of Ontario, specifically the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, e-Health Program and/or e-Health Ontario
- Extensive knowledge and experience with privacy and security requirements in healthcare and the applicable privacy legislation, including Ontario's health privacy act, PHIPA
- Extensive Knowledge of healthcare systems and consent management in eHealth Ontario and other jurisdiction
