Quality Engineer
This Quality Engineer position will be a part of the Quality and Business improvement team for civil operations. They are sitting with supply chain planning and control and the Quality Engineers will be working within a warehouse environment. They will be responsible for all quality aspects of warehouse operations, including process improvement activities and making sure everything runs smoothly. They will also be responsible for championing and facilitating changes, so there will be a lot of leasing with various people/teams and attaining buy in for these changes. Participate and support process improvement projects within the warehouse. Drive key aspects of Quality improvement roadmap support and facilitate the timely resolution of customer quality issues, completing the SAP transactional activities associated with raising, processing and closing QN's Support the collation and analysis of quality metrics. Partake and support quality surveillance activity to drive full compliance. Work with shift Quality Champions on kaizen style improvement activity. Develop world-class warehouse SOP's for effective and efficient compliance to Quality standards Champion the development of an outstanding Quality culture within the warehouse
Good understanding of the quality management system ISO9001 Warehouse understanding SAP quality module literate. Customer focus. Process focussed. Ability to work with ambiguity. Good interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate others. Ability to analyse/interpret statistical data. Ability to influence. Process Improvement knowledge (Yellow Belt/Green Belt). Integrity and trust. Understanding of RRQMS. Team player. Ideally Aerospace background.
