Description
My Client is working within digital publishing environment. They have many projects in progress simultaneously and currently they are using web technologies such as PHP Zend, Solr, XML, XSLT and Java/JSP.
Two roles are available within this space. Ideally one Candidate with 3yrs+ experience and another with 5/6yrs+ experience will be recruited.
Initial 12mth contract on either salary or daily rate contract basis is available.
The successful candidate will work in a dynamic IT team and be part of an expanding digital business.
They looking for someone who will relish a challenge and are willing to successfully take on difficult tasks, contribute to the team and learn on the job.
A solid understanding of software development, and in particular web development, is important.
Desired Skills & Experience
Minimum Qualifications:
- Third Level Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
Required Experience:
- Strong PHP/Java programming language experience.
- Experience with PHP Frameworks, in particular Zend
- Experience with (X)HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and JavaScript frameworks such as JQuery or Mootools
- Experience with MySQL/Oracle databases
- Working knowledge of with UNIX/Linux/BSD based operating systems
