Role: SAP MII Technical Consultant
Location: Denver, USA
Duration: 3 months rolling
Start: ASAP
- To take ownership of a complete development and be responsible for the maintenance, support, documentation and implementation.
- To build up working relationships with key staff from our client and those onshore team and also the offshore team.
- Liaise with the relevant Functional Consultants/Track Leads in order to ascertain that the Development meets the business requirements.
- Providing effort estimates, impact assessments, and solution options on new development requirements and change requests.
- Document technical design and present to the solution design Authority for approval
- Complete direct deliverables on complex and/or specialist development items as required.
- Ensure all technical developments are fully documented; unit tested and subject to rigorous QA procedures.
- Ensure all coding/modifications comply with project coding standards.
- When necessary, represent development team in forums requiring technical input
- When necessary, help out wider technical team with knowledge sharing, and handholding.
- Support the developments through the various project testing phases through to go-live support. Ensuring that actions are completed within agreed SLAs
- Ensure that developments are subjected to a full positive and negative testing regime.
- Escalate any issues/risk to team lead/manager
- Adhere to the project ways of working
Skills:
- Good experience of delivering complex MII developments
- Needs prior experience of working on systems with very high data volume and hence performance issues
- Strong technical specification skills, QA skills and communication ability is required
