My client is one of Australia's largest corporates based in the Sydney CBD and they currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Security SME/Analyst to work on an exciting cloud driven project shaping the future of IT services going forward.
This role requires knowledge around the ITIL framework and Security space especially around SIEM, Malware and Vulnerability Scanning security services. You will be providing direction and analysis on how a Security Operations Center capability shall be built.
This will be a 3-4 month initial contract with the extremely high likelihood of further extensions.
To be considered for this role you will have the following skills and experience:
- The ability to workshop with Security Designers, Security Operational & Governance SMEs to elicit a common understanding of technical use cases relating back to the scope of project work.
- Proven and demonstrable experience working in a Security Operations environment
- The ability to produce Data Mart designs based on Security Data gathered from various end point solutions
- A strong understanding and certification in ITIL (ITIL Masters & above preferred)
- Product knowledge with most of the following Mcafee EPO, Qualys, RSA Archer and SPLUNK
