Web Application Developer

My client, a leading Government organisation has an urgent requirement for a Web Application Developer to join their busy team to develop and fix bugs on a catalyst web application to manage operations of remote devices.

Other responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to;

• Establish an automatic archival process for the production database.
• Analysis and migration of existing issues and asset data.
• Testing of the web application.
• Systems administration of Linux server and Postgres database.

Skills required to carry out the role include;

• Proven experience developing web applications in Perl.
• Proven experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and SQL.
• Experience designing and developing web applications using AJAX or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of Catalyst or similar framework.
• Linux server systems administration.
