Configuration Data Analyst, 6 month, Middlesex
We are looking for a Configuration Data Analyst for an initial 6 month contract working in Middlesex.
You will have the following information:
Essential Skills/Experience
- Experience in Configuration data analysis, Scripting in Microsoft and Oracle technologies, database administration knowledge, reporting (converting data to meaningful information)
- Can demonstrate a track record of data analysis supporting a number of significant business units in a complex multi-region, multi-application environment.
- Must have good experience of using MS Excel to undertake data analysis.
- Good collaboration skills required as support for the Global Configuration Management Team and also the wider GOI and IT teams dependent on the services provided by Configuration Management.
- Work closely with the other SMC Process Managers to ensure a holistic service management practice.
- Proven commitment to IT Service Management best practices, especially Configuration Management.
- Technical knowledge of tools and technologies in the configuration management domain (eg relational database skills)
Desirable Skills/Experience
- Experience of Service Management as part of a large outsourced Service Operation.
- Foundation qualifications in ITIL v3
- Knowledge of Service Management Tool, such as BCM Remedy.
- Ideal candidate will have ITIL process knowledge and software development skills crossover.
