This is a new opportunity in a top bank for a Finance Manager.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in developing the business case and benefit analysis
- Identifying areas of improvement
- Supporting project manager
- Communicating with clients to produce clear concise reports
- Reviewing and tracking progress
- Logging and managing issues effectively
- Valuations
- Assess variable interest entities (VIE's) and Special Purpose Entities (SPE's)-Essential
- Using experience in IFRS and accounting qualification to assist business-Essential
Experience
- Full project life cycle experience
- Prince 2
- Fully/Part qualified accountant- Essential
- Assessing SPEs and VIEs-Essential
- Investment Banking background-Essential
- IFRS experience ideally IFRS 3 -Essential
- US GAAP experience-Essential
- Japanese GAAP experience is a huge advantage
- Ability to speak Japanese is a huge advantage
- Proven relationship building record both internally and externally
- The ideal candidate would have excellent communication skills with senior managements and external parties with an ability to withstand constant pressure to meet deadlines and efficient prior experience
