SAP Finance (FICO) Consultant (Functional)
Location: Belgium
Duration: 6 months +

Experience
- 5+ years of work experience in SAP FI & CO
- 2+ years in SAP New GL (SAP ERP 6.0 EhP 4 or higher)
- Should have minimum 2 end to end implementation experience including participation in Business blueprinting phase of SAP FICO related solutions
Required Skills
- At least 5 years' experience in SAP R/3 FICO Domain and 2 years in New GL (release 5.0 or higher)
- Expert FICO functional knowledge and configuration skills
- At least one full cycle of New GL implementation as functional consultant
- Good knowledge of New GL Implementation & basics of New GL Migration
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional specification and design a solution in SAP FICO domain
- In-depth knowledge of data migration planning, execution & validation
- Sound knowledge of designing Interface architecture from functional stand point & SAP hands-on knowledge of EDI/ALE, field mapping as well as applying data management principles
- Thorough skills expected in generating test strategy, devise test plan, designing & execution of test scripts, validation & documentation of results
- ABAP debugging skill is a must to succeed in the role
- Language skills: English (Primary); Dutch, French and/or German (Preferred/Optional)
- Key elements of the position are to participate in the FICOFunctional Migration and implementation onto SAP ERP 6.0.
- Lead participation with client team to design system/functionality/technical object migration from lower SAP version to SAP ERP 6.0
- Devise Process mapping & System Configuration plan in consultation with client core team members
- Carry out process configuration, system documentation, user & system manual creation, testing, training & validations
- Provide direction to technical team to develop error-free reports
- Support prototype development for specific selected functionalities
- Work with SAP Custom Development team to document required extension to the base SAP system to meet customer's unique requirements
