Next Ventures are currently executing a search for a highly skilled Informatca Master Data Solution lead for an exciting project in Copenhagen City Centre.Description:
The Master Data Solution Lead is responsible for the technical realization of Master Data solutions, ensuring each Master Data solution is designed and implemented in accordance with enterprise guidelines and Master Data standards/best practice.
The Master Solution Lead will work closely with project teams on their solution design to ensure effective implementation of Master Data projects. Working in the CLIENT Delivery Management group the Master Data Solution Lead shall engage with Project Managers, technical project teams, solution vendors and platform vendors through the solution life cycle with prime responsibility from solution design/modelling through to deployment.
A key part of this role is to consult and collaborate with the Enterprise Architect team in defining the overall Master Data solution and integration approaches and mentor delivery/development teams in accordance with enterprise standards.
We are seeking a Lead Architect with a balanced view of all key architectural quality metrics such as performance, scalability, reliability, availability, agility and interoperability. The role requires knowledge of the principles, practices, and procedures used in all phases of full life cycle applications and systems development, engineering, programming, and analysis at a highly technical level.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Work with delivery teams to develop a business-critical, maintainable and achievable Master Data solutions
Responsible for taking the high level design developed during the requirements phase to a detailed, implementable design
Assisting development teams in detail specification of data, service and process requirements
Provide leadership and expertise to multiple teams in broad technical areas on complex organization-wide projects
Advise senior management and various delivery teams on related technical strategies
Hands-on participation in the implementation of the technology, architecture, including ability and desire to get hands-on and work side-by-side with developers
Work closely with Enterprise Architecture to drive the adoption and implementation of the Master Data governance processes and architecture design principles across various development teams throughout the full life cycle of the projects
Develop guidelines, standards and process as needed, ensuring alignment with Enterprise Architecture
Build and maintain a catalogue of architectural decisions
Technical coordination across projects and teams in the portfolio
Escalation layer for technical issues - single point of contact for Enterprise Architecture for the projects Assist in identification and definition of non-functional requirements and Technical Architecture Documents, and working together with the relevant stakeholders for preparing deployment
Monitor data model - align and feedback changes to the Enterprise Logical Data Model
Skills/abilities required:
Technical skills:
5-7 years of experience architecting, leading complicated Master Data projects based on an Informatica platform
Excellent understanding of the following
o Master Data Governance
o Informatica Platform (Informatica MDM Hub/IDD, Informatica Power Center, Informatica Data Quality, Informatica Data Director etc.)
o Web services, Enterprise Service Bus
o Legacy to Informatica integration and Transformation
o User Interfaces
o Business rules management (workflow)
Experience in different development methodologies (Agile, Lean Product Development, Waterfall)
Excellent knowledge in application of design techniques, methodologies, and languages
Excellent knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Hands-on experience as solution architecture for large-scale projects and communication skills to articulate, rationalize and document architectural decisions
Experience mentoring and leading development teams of architects and developers in implementing Master Data architectures and solving significant integration challenges
Regularly provide guidance, training and coaching to other team members
Experience with Master Data Governance and Lifecycle Processes
